Gospel Mt 19:13-15 Bring up your children with Christian values Gospel Text   Then children were brought to him that he might lay his hands on them and pray. The disciples rebuked the people,  but Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.”  And he laid his hands on them and went away. Reflections: Children are the centre of attraction in the family and they draw our attention in a special way even though we are strangers. They are precious in the eyes of God, loved, cared for  but they have no power status or authority. Jesus pays attention to and reaches out to everyone including children. He takes notice of the children and extends his hands to bless them saying that kingdom of God belongs to such as these. By saying this he invites us to become like children, meek and pure of heart.   Activity:   Recall your childhood days and thank God for every blessing.
